Love and letting Go: Magical Results

Love and letting go of a cat, returned the cat to me

Introduction

This is a short story of magical results from “letting go” of an outcome, end results, the need for what I wanted and thought I needed (notice the “I” in there- all about me- haha).   I’m not implying I’m good at “letting go” it is in fact very hard for me, but for 2 times in a short but long time period, it worked!

OMG! My cat!

During an interstate move (moving far, 1 state to another); my animal family and I were a bit discombobulated.  The moving company was a scam and it became a mad rush to pack up and get out of the house before deadline.  I barely made it with my sanity in check, my animals may disagree.  Haha

My animal family and I stayed at a vacation rental (VRBO/Airbnb) at a stopping point along the way.  My very mellow cat decided to go on a walk around the neighborhood and not come back!  OMG!  I extended my stay to find him, did all the online searching, contacted the local shelter etc. etc.   I was also able to contact him (via telepathy) and knew he was on the earth plane (alive and well).   I had my animal communicator friend contact him, found out he was alive and well, but we could not find him.   I had to leave……broke my heart.   BUT every day I sent him my own little love and light blessing.  I also had to “let go”.   It was HIS choice to be with new humans.   I had to honor this no matter how much it hurt.

Pulling out of the VRBO driveway at 4AM without my cat was one of the hardest things I can remember doing!  All I could do was to send him love, light and blessings with no expectations of seeing him again but the intention he was happy and healthy.   I sent him love and light everyday (it takes 2 seconds, and I didn’t dwell on missing him.)

 Four Months Later:

4 months later I received a phone call from a Cat Shelter!   OMG!  They ran the microchip in my cat and called me!   I drove 11 hours to pick up my beloved cat, turned around and drove 11 hours home!    Was I upset or mad at the humans who kept my cat for 4 months?  NO!  They fed him, loved him, kept him inside all day and night and he was safe.   I was truly grateful for the safe return.

In my opinion, by 100% letting go of the outcome, letting go of MY wants and needs and only wishing love to my cat and his new humans, he was able to find his way back to me with a little help from the Universe, Angels, Higher Power; whatever you believe in.

 Lost Belongings:

Second example of letting go during this period.   The shady moving company I used “lost” my belongings!  There was no answer at the moving company no email response, finally got through but the person who could help me was on vacation etc. etc.  At about the 4 months mark I screamed the “F” word nice and loud and sat down cried a bit.  I decided, besides some special photos I could not replace, everything else that I thought I owned, was now gone and technically, could be replaced, just “material things”.   I let go.  I decided it would be fun to get new “things” and got excited.   The shady moving company called me that afternoon and “found my things” they were ready to deliver!

Conclusion

It’s not easy for me, but I learned you have to be ALL IN on the actual let go part!   Easier said than done, work some magic in there and let go with love!
