Understanding the Differences Between Animal Communication and Pet Mediumship

Animal Communication and Animal Mediumship are similar practices as they both involve communication with animals.  In this article we will look at the differences between the two and how both can benefit you and your beloved pets.

Animal Communication

Animal Communication is a human communicating with an animal via telepathy (human mind to animal mind) and the animal responding back.  Animals communicate with humans in an animal communication session via images, words, short snippets of a story; similar to a short video, sounds, smells, feelings or emotions.   All animals are different and of course have different information they want to share.

A session with an animal communicator can be in person, face to face with you and your pet or remote via phone, zoom, audio recording or email.   Your pet does not need to be physically present. Many animal communicators like to use a photo of your pet to connect with the animal.   The animal communicator will ask your pet any questions you may have and ask the pet what they want to share with you.  The animal communicator will relay the information from your pet to you.

In my experience, in communicating with animals they like to get right to the point.  It’s more like a business meeting where key points are being discussed and nothing else.  Almost all the animals I communicate with, want to share their thoughts and wants with their human and are happy to do so.

Sometimes shelter animals are reluctant to share, or they are too scared or sad to talk until they realize I can help them communicate as to what kind of person or family they would like to be connected with for best fit and happy ever after!

Animal communicators can help you and your pet understand behavior issues and the animals emotions that accompany the behavior.  Sometimes your animal may have pain. An animal communicator can help by connecting with your pet and describing to you what your pet is feeling so you can describe to your veterinarian your pets pain or ailment during your vet visit.  If your pet has an immediate health issue or pain please make a vet appointment immediately.  Animal Communication is not a substitute for medical treatment.

Cat telling an Animal Communicator he wants a purple collar

Pets are funny, the conversations are not always a big and serious topics.  I’ve talked with a cat that wanted a new purple collar. I’ve had a dog communicate it wants to see more “living room dance parties” with the family!  The kids were laughing hysterically at this!  We love our pets and their voice and personality definitely comes through during an animal communication session.

Pet Mediumship

Pet mediumship is a human communicating with an animal who has passed over to the other side; gone to heaven.  The animals soul or spirit is able to communicate with someone who can bridge the gap between the earth plane and souls on the other side.  Not every animal communicator can be a medium and not every medium can communicate with animals.

A pet medium will contact your pet on the other side and ask your pet what they would like to share.  Your pet medium can also ask any questions you may have for your pet. Be prepared, your pet may choose to not answer your questions and may go off topic as this would be what is important to your PET.   The pet medium will share the messages with you.  Your session can be in person, face to face or remote, via phone, zoom or audio recording.

Animals and our pets on the other side watch over us and genuinely want to talk to us on the earth plane, they want us to know they are totally fine and have messages for us.

A session with a pet medium can ease grief of a beloved pet passing over.  A connection from your pet can help you read the signs and signals they are sending you from the other side.  It can help ease possible guilt for end of life decisions (which are always challenging.)  You can laugh or be excited next time your pet sends a sign or signal instead of feeling like you imagined it!

Concluding thoughts

Pets love their humans unconditionally.  Unconditional love is one of their teachings to all humans.  Our pets have many learning experiences for us and purposes for being with their specific human.  The teachings and experiences go both ways.  Animal Communicators and Pet Mediums can help dig deep and shed some light on what their soul or spirit came to the earth plane to teach and experience.  Animals want to share with us during their lives and beyond.
